My name is Joel Edgar, and since 2022, qualifying as a Building Surveyor, I have gained a multitude of experience, whether that be working for a corporate or a family firm; my love for surveying and buildings has yet to dull my interest.

With that interest, my spark to create something for my family and me began to arise; I took the leap and created Mercian Surveying in 2026.

With my new business, you will witness my love of surveying via my reports and communication. Whether you are a first-time buyer or a property veteran, you can guarantee Mercian Surveying will fully uphold a place in your confidence when making that property purchase.

Mercian intends to cover all of the West Midlands. Level 2 and 3 surveys for any house from Shrewsbury all the way down to Royal Leamington Spa.
